The Spring Field Training Exercise, or FTX, is a full week-end of training at the National Guard’s Camp near Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo. It is here that UCSB cadets, cadets from San Luis Obisbo, along with students from both schools train together, and experience hands on soldiers skills and tasks.
